Are the projects independently verified?
Yes. Every project on the Carbon Marketplace (COMP) is certified under the Verified Carbon Standard (Verra VCS) or Gold Standard, and each one has an independent CRISP rating covering additionality, permanence, quantification, leakage and ICVCM Core Carbon Principles status.
Do you sell UK carbon credits?
Sometimes. Most projects on the marketplace are international, but from time to time we list a UK-based project certified under the Verified Carbon Standard, such as energy-efficiency retrofits of UK homes. UK credits are often more expensive compared to international projects, as supply is limited. We do offer Woodland Carbon Code or Peatland Code units, but not currently through the Carbon Marketplace - contact us if you are interested in these types of projects.
